TOURNAMENT RULES

  • All anglers must buy in to the main tournament to participate in side bets.
  • Fish must be caught in Catalina Island coastal waters. 
  • All anglers on board each vessel must be registered in the tournament.
  • All anglers on board a vessel must have the same side bet.
  • No refunds.

Operation Gray Ghost 2023

    Donate to the VFW

    Operation Gray Ghost is a sea bass fishing tournament established by a veteran in 2023 to support the small but mighty VFW on Catalina Island. Although the members of this VFW lost their clubhouse to disaster years ago, these veterans still gather to find ways to help and support the Avalon community. A donation to their organization, in effect, helps many causes at once.  Thank you for your support of these veterans and their mission!
